To serve on Centerstone’s Be in Charge 2 Youth Leadership Council, please fill out the form below. Be in Charge 2 provides youth, and their communities, with medically accurate information on teen pregnancy, STD/STI, and HIV prevention. Youth on the council will have the opportunity to discuss ideas and opinions about youth-friendly materials such as:
- Comic Books
- Public Services Announcements
- The WhoYouWant2Be Web site
- Promotional Give-Away Items
- Prom Campaign, etc.
Youth council members may be asked to review materials and respond via email or by phone conferencing. An occasional in-person meeting may take place, allowing council members to engage with other local youth. Also, youth council members may be asked to take part in promotional activities.
Serving on the council will provide youth with an opportunity to expand their communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills in a fun and safe environment. Participation is free and serves as volunteer and community service hours. At any time, students or parents may choose to discontinue involvement in council activities.
